Theater scenery castors are used in the theater to create dramatic movement and changes in the scenery. This technique consists of placing the prop on swivel wheels that allow the prop to move horizontally across the stage.

Swivel wheels can be placed under the stage or at its base, and by using drive mechanisms, they can rotate the stage around its axis. This creates the illusion that the scenery is moving or rotating on the stage.
